DFG Priority Programmes
Priority Programmes of the German Research Foundation (DFG) are nationwide collaborations to address a common scientific question. They are usually funded for a period of six years and include up to 30 individual projects. Priority Programmes aim to give clear impetus to the advancement of science and the humanities through coordinated multi-location funding for important new topics. They are intended to form networks, strengthen interdisciplinarity, and promote early career researchers and equal opportunities measures.
Two Priority Programmes are currently coordinated at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. Moreover, researchers from our faculty are involved in numerous additional Priority Programmes.
