The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences currently hosts six department-wide graduate schools for doctoral candidates pursuing a Dr. rer. nat. The Graduate Schools aim to:
Foster interdisciplinary exchange within the faculty
Establish effective organizational structures for structured doctorates
Offer comprehensive training through workshops and courses
The executive committee is elected for one year. Its major task is safeguarding good standards of graduate education in all Graduate Schools of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. Chairs and Representatives of the Executive Committee serve as contact persons for the dean's office, the faculty and the rectorate.
