From the research lab to the classroom - Organic LEDs in the Curricular Innovation

Contextuality has long been considered an important criterion for motivating teaching - especially in chemistry. Teachers often lack useful didactic approaches in the form of experiments and learning materials, especially for modern, everyday contexts such as high-resolution smartphone displays. The development and testing of these materials is a central challenge in the didactics of chemistry. In the lecture, the path of curricular innovation ("from the research lab to the classroom") will be presented in an experimental and conceptual way using the current topic of OLEDs (organic LEDs) as an example. All interested parties are cordially invited to attend.
