Starting a Research Career at the MNF
Early-Career Researchers
The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MNF) at the University of Cologne (UoC) offers researchers a wide range of opportunities to develop their academic careers – from doctoral studies and the postdoctoral phase to research independence and professorship.
We support early-career researchers in pursuing their own research ideas, building academic networks, gaining international experience, and preparing for the next steps in their careers. In addition, researchers can benefit from the wide range of services offered by the University of Cologne and its central institutions.
